I kept hitting the ceiling in Tinkercad. The next step up is Fusion or Onshape, which means an install, an account, and a real learning curve, and I just wanted to make the parts I had in my head without any of that. So I built OwlCAD, a parametric 3D modeler that runs entirely in the browser. What's different: Parametric history, so changing a dimension later rebuilds the model instead of making you redo the work. Print-aware. Most of what I make gets printed, so clearance presets for press fits and slip fits are built in, and overhang surfaces get tinted while you'
